Harley-Davidson® of Dallas has moved! After a long wait, we’re opening our new, 50,000 square foot facility to serve you better. We can’t wait to see every single one of you at the new location. Until we do, here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the new Allen Harley® dealership.
When is the Official First Day Open?
The store has its official “soft” opening on Monday, August 3, 2020. We’ll have a bigger grand opening later, but your first chance to see the new store is now! We’ll have bike washes, events, classes and all the usual at the new dealership, and when we schedule our official grand opening, if you’re subscribed to our newsletter and following us on Facebook, you’ll be the first to know.
Where is the New Allen Harley® Dealership Located?
The actual Black Gold Harley-Davidson® address is 1007 State Highway 121 in Allen, TX. We’re still in Allen, but when some people plug the new address into maps, they don’t always end up with the right information. We’re right next to Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, just ten minutes from the old dealership. So before you head our way, check to make sure navigation is sending you to the right place.
What are the Hours for New Allen Harley® Dealership?
Hours are the same for the new dealership as they were for Harley-Davidson® of Dallas. Come see us on the following days and times:
Monday through Friday - 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday – Closed
If we change hours due to holidays, we’ll always update our website, just scroll to the bottom of any page.

Why Did You Choose Black Gold Harley-Davidson® for the New Name?
Our dealership traces its roots back to the first-ever Harley-Davidson® dealership in Dallas TX. The original location was near Deep Ellum on the corner of Main and Oakland. Over the years, owners who all believed both in Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and the company from which they originated moved the motorcycle shop a small handful of times, eventually settling in Allen, TX. We’ve been part of the Allen community since it was mostly cow pastures.
When we relocated, we decided to give our new location the new name Black Gold Harley-Davidson®. Around the same time prospectors discovered oil at Spindletop near Beaumont and “black gold” gushed into the air and flooded the area with wealth and travel possibilities, William S. Harley and Arthur and Walter Davidson introduced to the world the first Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Both Black Gold and Harley had a deep impact on area history.
Who Owns the New Black Gold Harley-Davidson®?
Ownership has not changed. The new Allen TX Harley® dealership has the same owner, and will be under the same great management, with the same level of customer service and the same knowledgeable service staff as Harley-Davidson® of Dallas.
What Changed About the New Location?
We chose our new location to make it more accessible and to provide more room for the motorcycles and merchandise our customers love. We also have more room for service and an entire room for Dyno tuning. Here’s just a brief summary of what you’ll find inside and outside our new Allen Harley® dealership.

Will the New Allen Harley® Dealership Be More Expensive?
No. We’ll continue to offer consistent pricing on new motorcycles, pre-owned motorcycles, Motorclothes and merchandise as customers were thrilled with at the old dealership. Always watch our website and newsletter to find out about promotions and service specials.
Will the Types of Bikes Available Change?
You’ll find the same inventory choices at the new Allen Harley® dealership as we’ve always carried. We’ll offer new and pre-owned Harley® motorcycles like the following:
